I'm a Mississippi artist who creates statement floral paintings and commissions to bring color and calmness to your home. Each piece I create is a one-of-a-kind original, signed and crafted with intention.

Why Florals & Botanicals?

There's something deeply grounding about painting flowers and botanicals. They remind us that beauty can be both bold and gentle, vibrant and peaceful. In a world that often feels chaotic, I'm drawn to capturing these moments of natural calm—the way light catches a petal, the unexpected color combinations in a garden, the quiet strength of stems and leaves.

My work celebrates color as a source of joy and comfort. Whether it's a dramatic statement piece or a delicate botanical study, I want each painting to create a sense of calm in your space.

My Creative Process

I work primarily in watercolor and acrylic on archival cotton paper and canvas. I'm intentional about using quality materials because these aren't just paintings—they're investments meant to bring beauty to your home for years to come.

Some pieces are inspired by gardens I've visited (like "Mimi's Garden," named for my mother's beautiful blooms), others by moments with my daughter, music that moves me, or simply the way colors speak to each other. I let each piece develop organically, responding to the paint and the paper as I work.

Mississippi Roots

Growing up in Tennessee and creating in Mississippi has shaped my eye for color and my appreciation for natural beauty. The lush gardens, the way seasons shift here, the abundance of flowers and greenery—it all finds its way into my work.

What 'Color & Calmness' Means to Me

This phrase captures my entire artistic philosophy. I believe our homes should be sanctuaries, and art plays a powerful role in creating that feeling. Bold, beautiful color doesn't have to be overwhelming—it can actually create a sense of peace and grounding. That's what I aim for in every piece.

Commissions & Originals

Nearly Every painting in my shop is an original—only a minuscule portion have been made into a print. When you purchase a piece, you're getting the only one that exists. I also welcome commission work, where we can collaborate to create something perfectly suited to your space and vision.
